Dar Sultan is located in the heart of Tángier's Kasbah district and is the former home of the Sultan who lived in the Dar El Makhzen Palace (which is now a museum). The Kasbah is also home to all of the old official buildings such as the Palace of Justice, Treasurer … The Riad Dar Sultan is closed to the beach and the center of the city. This charming guest house is built in a pure French-Moroccan style. This 300 year old riad boasts spectacular views of the sea and the old kasbah. It has been restored by the local master craftsmen of Fes for the zelliges and the best ones of Marrakech for the bejmats. Original patio with superb decoration of ancient objects and fountains, offers lounge areas, fireplaces and library. The Riad has 6 rooms & suites spacious, elegant and decorated with the pure local tradition. From its the Caïdale tent in the terrace, everything incites to look over to the other side, to Spain and to Tangier, the white city. The service is excellent and convivial, a guarded free parking and a VIP welcome.
