It’s All in the Details - Feb 5, 2019
Wonderful staff, cheerful, and no request is too much trouble. An excellent guide was arranged, Meryem, and a driver for our day trip to Meknes & Volubilis. Meals were delicious, dinner very reasonably priced.Unfortunately, the Riad, which is beautiful, suffers from 11 years of wear and small things have been overlooked. Our bathtub was worn, no plug & bathroom cupboards were held closed by rubber bands. I also think an upgrade to blankets & bedding would be useful. The electric roof was closed for repair and there was no access to the roof terrace, usually the most enjoyable location in Riads. It could be that attention is being placed on the new Riad next door which will be part of El Amine in future.I enjoyed my stay at El Amine but details do make a difference.« less ...

Good hotel to stay in Fez, Morocco - Jan 25, 2019
This was a great hotel to stay in Fez, Morocco. Very spacious room, which feels like a palace. Great and friendly stuff. I wish it was in a better condition though. Unfortunately couldn’t use a pool due to cold weather and a Spa / jacuzzi was only available for additional charge.« less ...

Lovely place, wonderful staff - Jan 12, 2019
This Riad is absolutely beautiful. Halima keeps the rooms very clean, with toiletries, toilet rolls et cetera topped up every day. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, Zakariya and Muhammad will help in any way they can. The breakfasts are lovely, and always servtwith a smile. The staff also really helped when I had an upset stomach, giving me thyme tea. They were also very understanding and helpful at 4am, when I had to leave for the airport, even making me a breakfast sandwich at that time! Thank you« less ...
