Some wedding fun - Aug 31, 2017
I loved this Riad! My friend had booked this Riad for all his friends who were coming for his wedding. The manager Munir was amazing. I was the last of the friends to check in; the Riad is centrally located in the busy Medina. Muneer, the Riad manager, came and met with me to navigate through the craziness.Muneer did so much for us, he was able to help us find local spots for laundry and pressing our clothes for the wedding. He made breakfast for us and made sure we were taken care of. I appreciate all the time and energy. The rooms were just perfect. The AC is strong so just be careful of the temperature you maintain. There are annoying kids in the area, just ignore them, they are clearly bored. Check out my instagram for pictures @thehalaaltraveler« less ...

Great stay at Riad Harmonia - Jan 5, 2017
My wife and I travelled from Canada and met up with 5 other family members from the UK for a 7 night getaway to Marrakech over Christmas. The previous Riad we had booked cancelled at short notice, so we booked Riad Harmonia at short notice. Picked up at airport by taxi minivan, and dropped at edge of the old city market, as it is closed to motorized vehicles at night. We were met by a guide with a cart for the luggage, and he was great at pointing out the landmarks we needed for navigating to the Riad for the balance of our trip. It was about a 30 minute walk to the accommodation (my mother does not move as quickly as she used to). Once we got there, we had the entire 5 bedroom facility to ourselves for the entire stay. Breakfast was included every day, and lunch and dinner was provided whenever we wanted (for additional cost). Food was great, hot tub in the centre of the living area was a delight except for the last day when it was out of order. As we had come from much cooler climes, lounging on the rooftop was very pleasant.Staff were very good, helpful and great cooks. We did not venture outside the old city this trip, but will be looking to return and spend a little longer next time and venture out on some excursions. The market was great, be ready to barter hard, and not take the very pushy vendors to heart.ATM's readily available, slow but serviceable wi fi in the Riad. Price for seven of us staying with breakfast every day and 5 lunch / dinners and the airport transfers worked out costing under US$50 per person per day« less ...

Disgustig staff! - Mar 28, 2015
I have never given a bad review before but this has got to be the worst hospitality experience I have ever had so I had to say something. The managers of the place, Sebastien and Nezha were anything but professional. At our arrival, we are greeted by Nezha who is very cold, knows very little about the city and makes us feel out of place with her rude remarks about me and my friend. Shortly afterwards, we meet Sebastien who was drunk, loud and disrespectful to us. I was really appalled at the terrible way they treated us making us feel unwanted, disrespected and regretful of having made the choice to stay at this riad. After an hour and a half of being thoroughly investigated, our hosts send us to the ATM to bring cash because (apparently) their website was out of order and they refused that we pay using a credit card without any explanation as to why and disregarding the fact that it was almost midnight and that we were tired after a long trip. After we finally get to the room, we are greeted by a cockroach in the bathtub, what a great way to start your vacation! The riad itself looked beautiful but you have very little privacy and you are treated very poorly. If you want your vacation ruined like ours was, go to this place.« less ...
