Fun Place to Stay - May 12, 2018
A Very cleverly and elegantly modernised house which retains its Moroccan element. The room which we had, had its bathroom upstairs and the bed was tucked into the wall with the window at its foot. Ideal for a honeymoon couple, but less so for those in their seventies, since a trip to the bathroom at night, necessitated climbing over one's sleeping partner and then up 15 stairs. However, such mundane considerations were offset by the amazing staff who could not do enough for one. I loved it.« less ...

Boutique Sirenes - Feb 12, 2018
We arrived in rainy weather and were picked up from busstation. The road to the hotel was in a bad condition but that seemed more rule than exception in the Essaouira Medina. Dar les Sirenes is a nice haven to be in. A boutique feeling because of the good design and tasteful local decorations. I had a look in 3 of the 4 rooms with ensuite bathrooms and they were all well designed. Our Blond suite had a fireplace which was lit every evening. The rain shower was warm and running. Not a lot of noice nor light entered the room at night. Breakfast was tasty in French style. We met the owner Eduardo briefly, but Saïd took good care of us and was very helpful. Would definitely return!« less ...
