Stunning - Jan 14, 2019
Absolutely beautiful riad located right on the sea with the most beautiful views of the sea and the city! We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a suite which was huge! However had to request to be moved as the first suite hadn’t been cleaned very well but the second one was perfect. Really lovely staff and the breakfast was quite nice especially being served on the terrace with beautiful views. Big issue though is it’s far from a Main Street so it’s quite a mission with luggage, etc. Definitely recommended though!« less ...

Right on the Sea Wall - Jan 10, 2019
We stayed here for 2 nights as part of our Morocco tour.It is a little tucked away and down several alleyways and behind a big door, which makes an interesting walk to and from the Riad.Upon entering you are blown away by the beauty of the Riad. It is lovely and the open central courtyard going up several floors is impressive. The rooms and bathrooms themselves are fairly basic and average in size but in keeping with the Moroccan style. We were lucky enough to be on the 2nd floor on the sea wall and had 2 windows that opened up right over the ocean.Just magic. When you open the windows you can really haer the waves crashing and the wind stops you from opening the door to the room, so make sure you close the windows before going out. Althoug it is quite noisy with the windows open, when you close them it is very quite so does not impact your sleep. We had dinner inside here the first night which was pretty much the standard Moroccan meals that we had come to epxect at Riads. We werent given the option to eat on the terrace as I think it was too windy at the time. Breakfast was basic but sufficient and again what we had come to expect at the Riad we had stayed at.Worth noting is that although they have a bar area and 2 outdoor terraces, they do not serve alcohol and if you buy/bring your own (and opener) they also do not permit you to drink it in the bar, dinning room or teraces, so you have to drink in your room which was a shame as it would have been the perfect way to watch the veiws. The staff were also very helpful.Loved our stay here. One of our highlights.« less ...

Lovely ocean view - Dec 28, 2018
We booked an ocean room suite and were hosted in suite 101. A fruit basket and a water bottle were provided. The suite was lovely and properly clean. Unfortunately, due to its location it was damp. There was humidity all over the external wall of the room and the windows, as it was on the first floor, had to be closed for most of the time. The view is really something... and beds are large and comfy. The Riad is not hard to find... but it’s not a pleasant walk to reach it. We got used to it, of course, but walking in a unknown territory with a few months old baby, and crossing dark and dirty alleys is not.... pleasant.Breakfast is... odd... acceptable, but odd. One would expect to have some more choice. The Riad itself is quite dark, huge, and feels empty... slightly soulless, I would say.Reception staff are ok, the porter is quite nice and friendly and so are the staff at the restaurant/ terrace. The Riad did not have a baby chair for the restaurant. Either we would carry the stroller up the stairs. Or have to hold the baby during an entire meal. More attention to families with babies is advised.« less ...
