Beautiful but not so private - Jan 21, 2020
Cons: Super tiny rooms with a very open bathroom. Luckily for me, the hotel was empty for my stay, but if not, I would have likely not been too happy. The map they provided was not very helpful to navigate the medina. Not much English communication is understood, although French is very prevalent (including in the area itself). Steep stairs (only a problem for people who have troubles climbing). Pros: Staff was always available and asking me for any requests for food/drink. Very helpful staff in finding any locations otherwise. Beautiful riad with fantastic views of the city and water (not many of these terraces available in the medina). Excellent location although hard to find based on the one sign at the entrance. Very in-your-face cats which is a bonus for me (not a riad I would suggest for anyone allergic or declines to be around cats). Available to help with transfers to the airport (should be no more than 200 dh per trip).« less ...

Tiny, but hospitable - Jan 17, 2020
The location, terrace view, and hospitality was amazing. Easy to find from the Bab Kabash, food everywhere. But you MUST LOVE CATS! There are two that live there and one is super friendly and will sit on your lap or bed without asking. Cat fur! Luckily I love cats and this made me feel right at home. Rooms are super tiny so not meant for people who like space and privacy (including a semi private bathroom). For close couples or family, more preferable. Not meant for folks who cannot climb steep stairs. Owner is always available on site. Safe part of the medina and easy access.« less ...

An experience to remember - Dec 7, 2019
In the calm and charming Kasbah of Tanger, this heartwarming house made us feel all the magic we were looking for, entering a world of distant athmospheres. Our room was like a little castle, and there was all one can wish, even some delicious cakes for a midnight treat. The white terrace on the sea has unique views, there we enjoyed tea with traditional honey and sesame cookies, served with style, and it was perfect relax. The staff was extremely kind and professional, always ready for any request. Fresh flowers and petals were a signature feature. A colourful and multiflavoured breakfast, to appreciate all the specialties of spanish and moroccan delights in one take, with mostly homemade products, was the final surprise. Truly, an experience to remember.« less ...
