Gorgeous ambiance - May 15, 2019
Loved our two nights here. Gorgeous building covered in ornate tiles, nicely appointed rooms. Well located at the edge of the Medina so it's not hard to find and easy to get to with luggage--but still in the Medina. We had one dinner here which was relaxing and tasty, would recommend reserving dinner in advance if possible although the chef was kind enough to accommodate us at the last minute.Mehdi A, Guest Relations Manager at Riad el Amine Fes, responded to this review Dear Sarah451985,Thank you so much for taking the time to write a comment, and such a lovely one at that. Our best stay in Morocco - May 1, 2019
This was our first night on our 8 day visit and was easily the best. Don't miss it!It is a redecorated and expanded private house, now a Riad with extensive renovations, very helpful and friendly staff and top class room. They are in the process of annexing an adjacent property.Welcome to "Arabian Nights"!Mehdi A, Guest Relations Manager at Riad el Amine Fes, responded to this review Dear croftonMelbourne, Thank you so much for your generous review and 5-star rating. Top notch - Mar 31, 2019
Once you walked through the door, you know this is something special. The setup is grand like other places. The riad is relatively small but it felt like you are spending time your nights in a small palace. Staff and food were good. Bathroom needs a little attention. Shower doors didn’t close all the way leaving about an itch, so it made a little mess after every shower. All in all very nice stay in Fes.Mehdi A, Guest Relations Manager at Riad el Amine Fes, responded to this review Dear boazleung, Thank you so much for leaving a comment, and such a kind one at that. Beautiful Riad - Mar 22, 2019
Riad El Amine is extremely well located and we stayed here for 2 days. We arrived here at around 6 pm after our 3 day Dessert Safari. The Riad is an ornately decorated, beautiful and well looked after Moroccan gem. We would have liked the English speaking reception staff to welcome us and complete our check-in formalities. As well as give us some useful information about the area and the facilities provided eg. room service, restaurants as well as what was included in our package at the Riad. The ever pleasant and lovely concierge who checked us in could only speak in French and we were directed to our room without any formal welcome by the reception staff in English. So we were left to our own devices to explore the area around us that evening. We also had to ask where we would be served breakfast the next morning such information should be given to guests instead of having to ask. Our room however was beautifully decorated and well looked after, the bathroom too is traditionally tiled although the rest of the walls are bit tired looking and could do with some paint renovation treatment. Breakfast was served in the most pretty and cheerful rooms in the Riad.. was delicious, food was hot and most graciously and beautifully presented. If we had a choice we would choose a riad with better customer service and more warmth towards its guests as we experienced in Marrakech... That’s what was missing here. Must mention the 2 concierge staff are extremely polite, efficient and the one who was on duty the morning we left too made sure we got our early morning ride to the train station on time.Mehdi A, Guest Relations Manager at Riad el Amine Fes, responded to this review Dear MooreDee, Thank you so much for taking the time to write a detailed review of your stay with us, we truly appreciate the feedback.
