Best hotel service in my life. amazing staff - Jul 27, 2019
Riad Les Ammonites was honestly the best hotel I have stayed in my life. Our hotel transfer guy was friendly and gave us helpful tips when it comes to navigating the streets, staying safe and how to negotiate. due to the narrow streets, the car can only go so far, so we were picked up by FAHD who walked us back to the riad and checked us in. he showed us a map of marrakech and told us some places to eat, shop and visit. Fahd was absolutely amazing. he was kind, friendly and polite. he made sure that we were treated like royalty and was very helpful. whenever we asked for directions or ordered a taxi he personally walked us there. francesca, who i believe is the owner was also very helpful and friendly. she brings her two huskys, Hutchie and Alsog to the riad everyday which was so lovely to have puppy cuddles in the morning! food was amazing too! rooms are gorgeous! riad is only an 11 minute walk away from the main square jemma el fna. vegetarians beware that the walk includes walking past butchers which smell and you will definitely see a chicken being decapitated...but thats all in the experience of morocco...anyway the riad was small and intimate and perfect for couples. it felt like a safe paradise from the loud hustle and bustle that is morocco. I believe there is a hammam inside however i didnt realise until we were leaving.« less

An oasis of calm - Jun 18, 2019
A massive THANK YOU to everyone at Riad Les Ammonites from all of us. As a group of 13, we took the Riad exclusively for three nights in May and it couldn’t have been better.Everything, from booking through to our stay, was well catered for and we felt thoroughly looked after. The Riad is an oasis of calm and tranquility just minutes from the chaos and bustle of the medina. The rooms are exquisite; the courtyard beautiful. The roof terrace was the perfect place for pre-dinner aperitifs and the food was incredible. Breakfasts deserve a special mention - pastries, pancakes, breads, preserves, the eggs (!), fresh orange juice - everything was out of this world and all freshly prepared and baked in the kitchen. The coffee was wonderful and the mint tea was delicious. There aren’t enough superlatives to describe this place. Thank you to everyone at Riad Les Ammonites. And to anyone thinking about booking, DO IT!!! You won’t regret it.« less

Perfectly positioned Riad - Feb 3, 2019
We booked the whole place for 11 friends and it was perfect for us. Gorgeous rooms. Delicious breakfast. Fadh and his team were perfect hosts. We enjoyed a lovey dinner one evening and they sought some beer and wine for us. The roof terrace was a great space to chill out and relax. Very convenient for the souks and main square. Highly recommend!« less

Great location and Superb staff - Jan 16, 2019
We stayed for 5 nights and, whilst we had some initial concerns, the Rhiad was excellent. On arrival we were met as promised by a taxi which took us to about 200 meters from the rhiad - as close as he could get. The (guided) walk to the hotel, down a dirty side street teaming with traders and beggars was a little worrying but by the 2nd day we were walking the same streets, by ourselves, with no concerns.Again, a concern was the appearance outside of the Rhiad as we arrived, but, once inside, the place was clean and well decorated. The breakfast was good, and plentiful, and we ate here one evening which was also good.We used the Hammam, which was excellent, and had a cookery lesson one afternoon - this also meant we had a free dinner that evening :)If you want the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh then this place is excellent and a quiet retreat once inside the front door. Finally, all of the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We only mark as a 4 instead of a 5 as the heating did not work in either of our rooms on the first night, although it was fixed by the second evening.« less

Present to my mom! - Jan 13, 2019
I wanted to surprise my mother visiting Marrakech and I did it! We were lucky to stay at this hotel. Clean, comfortable and with few people. A family atmosphere, exquisite food and we have all the facilities to move on small streets and full of people. I recommend it a lot to live the Moroccan experience! We were able to enjoy the stay without problem. Thanks Francesca to organize our trip to Sahara, each detail you'll see was perfect. My mother were happy.« less
