Short Winter Break in Marrakesh - Feb 11, 2019
Excellent riad. Good staff and good food. Well priced. Very nice pool. Having read some of the other reviewssince we got home I would liketo defend the small roof terrace rom - we thought it was a great price - lovely to be on the top floor and have the terrace area all to yourselves. I can appreciate people who had expected larger rooms would be a tad disappointed but having had a recent visit to Kenya where some of the "deluxe" rooms were a disgrace we thought this little riad was great. My only concern on being dropped off by the taxi was .... if I hadn't booked with Vogage Prive I would not have gotten out of the cab. The "alley way" you walk down to get to the riad is pretty grim - so beware but once you are at the door of the riad you're fine to go! The walk to the medina is very "authentic" - too much so for me - its workshops, donkeys pulling carts of cement, car repairs etc - to be honest - not to my liking and looking over the walls of the roof terrace makes you think you are in a very different place. So all in all - its a lovely riad, its close to the centre but I should probably have been in the modern part of town rather than the old part. On the other hand my husband loved it (did a motorcycle trip across Morocco last year - so he is more accustomed than me!)« less

Amazing place, host and staff - Jan 9, 2019
My wife and I stayed with Lawrence for 11 days over the new year. Our stay was first class. Laurence made recommendations on where to visit and what to do, her recommendations fitted our needs perfectly. The staff were all wonderful. The Riad was just perfect. The food was amazing, we ate in the Riad on two nights, we would have enjoyed eating there every night had we not wanted to try different places. The roof top garden is an idyllic escape in the sun all day long. Great place, have no reservations I assure you that you will come back super happy like we did. Even the people out in the street know and admire Laurence and do all they can to help her guests. 5 Stars all the way. See you soon Laurence. Pete and Kirsten« less

Beautiful riad and perfect hosts - Nov 6, 2018
2 perfect days in Marrakech enjoying the hospitality of the staff at Riad Laurence Olivier. The riad itself is a work of art and the best place to relax after a busy day exploring the streets of the Medina. Breakfast went beyond our expectations - simply delicious. In terms of distances, literally 10 mins walk to the main square. Definitely worth the visit and 100% recommended.« less

Very Pleasant Stay - Oct 20, 2018
We stayed at this riad which is so peaceful with great relaxing facilities such as rooftop sun-trap with unlimited views ,swimming pool and terraces for dining etc. It`s best asset is the staff with Simo ,Ali and very good ladies who are so obliging with home made cake etc.Use the taxi driver who they have as he is fantastic costing just 100 dirhams to gointo town anywhere and recommends eating places [but not off the main square`s stalls!].A safe area gives about a 20 min walk to the Square. Utilise the Guide Abdul for an interesting walk around the older parts of the town ,keeping away from carpets, and medical cures. One mark down for a little lack of minor maintenance which although not too much inconvenient ,we thought if Madame had been there things might have been light bulbs would have been changed etc.All in all a great place to stay.« less
