One of the prettiest boutique hotels I've been in- but not recommended for those hoping to go to medina everyday - Jul 5, 2018
This place is so well-valued, it's unreal. Rooms are cozy (ie small) but beautiful, usually with a small balcony/terrace. The dining room is absolutely beautiful with amazing breakfast spreads every morning. the background pool surrounded with plants just beckons you to rest and relax there the whole morning. It's in the middle of the oasis outside of marrakech so super peaceful, no noise but with that, truly nothing around it to walk for food, shopping etc. A car would be needed everywhere. With that said, this would be an amazing place for someone who wants to have downtime and have R&R. If you're wanting to go to the medina and restaurant everyday, not the best option as taxi cost will rack up and get a little too expensive.Samira E, Directeur général at Palais de l'O, responded to this review C'etsit un grand plaisir pour nous de vous recevoir parmi nous au Zpalais de l'O, esperont vous voir bientot,A trés vite.Bon week end Samira « less

Garden of Eden far from the madding crowd - May 17, 2018
A little known fact, is that God created a second, beautiful Garden of Eden several miles to the East of Marrakesh. He populated it with beautiful red and white roses; palm trees, flora and birds that sang with the voices of Angels. He left this oasis it in the hands of a noble group of people and under the caring supervision of Tarique and Yousef. My wife and I had the pleasure of spending 10 days in this secret gem for our wedding anniversary. No mobile phones, television, email or technology just books and the warmth of friendship from the staff, the small number of guests and the bliss of a daily trip to the spa at the bottom of the garden and plunge into the pool. Kindly upgraded to the magnificent suite with rooms and a terrace overlooking the pool. A walk around the starkly contrasting martian landscape like neighbourhood gives an insight into local Moroccan life outside the tourist City and a trip up to the Atlas mountains is a must. A wonderful time, thanks you for looking after us and warmest wishes for Ramadan .Iliass B, Directeur général at Palais de l'O, responded to this review Merci beaucoup, au plaisir de vous recevoir parmi nous. A trés bientot. « less

Beautiful Oasis Amidst A Bustling City - May 15, 2018
This was the greatest escape from Marrekech. It was affordable and beautiful we didn't want to leave! We checked in on a Sunday and had the spa and pool to ourselves. The hamam was truly breathtaking with a spa, rain shower and sauna. We ate dinner the night of our stay at the restaurant and it was ok but the breakfast the next morning was really wonderful. We traveled with our twin boys and found it to be very amenable for families. We can't wait to return!Iliass B, Directeur général at Palais de l'O, responded to this review C'ete un plaisir pour nous de vous recevoir parmi nous, a tres bientot. « less

Amazing retreat from the craziness for Marrakech - May 15, 2018
It was a beautiful serene area with incredible staff, peacocks, a gorgeous spa and the room was relaxing, spacious and private. I would highly recommend. It's not far from Marrakech and was a welcome break from the previous few days of Medina excursions and craziness. They also have a Riad in Marrakech, if we had know about that in advance we would definitely have stayed there - if the experience at Palais was anything to go by.« less

The worst ever - Aug 4, 2017
I stayed for öne nite, the riad was empty. Scary place @ nite, u cant go out, no transportation ,no shops, 45min far from the city. The food iş bad, the shower did not work. The next morning, friend of mine, a french citizen came over to stay @ pool, they aşk her for her passport to let her stay in the room which was their right. But @ the reception they said that we have to leave the hotel by noon ,cant use the pool nor have a lunch because a group was about to arrive. So we decide to go somewhere else to spend the day. At check out, since my night was already paid through the site, they charged me extra 100$ because my friend came over 2h & used the pool and they said if ı dont pay they will call the police .well, its not a place with hospitality and amneties, its rip off experience. I suggest many safe hotels in Marrakech close to everything. Very bad experience, Place to avoid. U will regret ur stay. « less
