Superb Multi-Generational Family Visit - Dec 31, 2019
Thank you to Riad Nabila and staff, especially Yasmine and Sa’id, for a superb family Christmas vacation. We were 16 in total and took over the Riad for the week. Yasmine was extremely helpful with advance preparations, and Sa’id could not have been more welcoming and accommodating during the week itself. Our rooms were lovely, though a little cool at first. We got all the rooms comfy (thanks to the split air/heating) with the exception of the two ground floor rooms. Workmen were called in, but with no appreciable improvement. Also, by the end of the week we all felt the mattresses were a bit hard. Other than that, we found the rooms and their en suites to be very comfortable. The inner courtyard is pretty though cool at this time of year. We used a heat lamp when we sat out late in the day. The rooftop is glorious! Nice loungers and a couple of umbrellas. Breakfast was included - eggs and bread. Delicious fresh orange juice. Lots of excellent coffee or mint tea. By the end of the week we were pretty bored with baked eggs and were gasping for fresh fruit. We ordered five evening meals through Yasmine. The riad has a menu - simple local food at a very reasonable price - tagines etc. After the first night we requested more vegetables and the staff happily obliged. They also delivered a wonderful dinner on Christmas Day. Sa’id had bottled water, soda, beer and wine available, which was much appreciated. Please note - you will need to settle your bar bill WITH CASH on your departure day. Some additional things to note:1) You can’t get a car to the door of the riad. Some large cars/buses have to park a short distance away. Only an issue if you have mobility issues. 2) The stairs between floors at the riad are a little uneven and have no handrails. We were extra cautious as we had two older family members with us. This could be an issue with very young visitors. 3) The local boys love to tell visitors that they can’t walk thru the mosque courtyard (the easiest way to access the soul). This is not true. They offer to lead you around the mosque and then demand payment. We had been warned and didn’t pay but they got quite truculent. However, you should note that non Muslims are not permitted to enter mosques in Morocco. The mosque courtyard however is fair game. People ride their motor bikes as drive their miles through the courtyard.4) You will hear the call to prayer throughout the day - including the dawn call! The one mosque is extremely close and it almost sounds like they are broadcasting from the next room. It’s lovely - but a bit of a surprise if you are fast asleep. 5) Sa’id is incredibly helpful and accommodating. He will order taxis and cars and help with arrangements for excursions. We sought his council and advice on several matters. The staff all like and trust him. We would return in a heart beat. Thank you to everyone at Riad Nabila for making our Christmas so enjoyable. « less

Quiet and nice oaisis in Marrakech - Sep 28, 2019
We discovered Riad Nabila on net in a rush before travelling to Marrakech. It tuned out to be a very nice choice. Marrakech is busy and quite stressing - entering this Riad was the complete opposite...we where seated immidiately in their beautiful patio with tea when we arrived. The patio contains a small pool under banana trees and small siderooms where you can sit, read a book or just relax. Staff was really nice and helpfull, the room was spacious and clean. They also have a small spa room where you can order hammam or massage. In total well worth the money and a good choice if looking for an authentic and quiet oaisis in Marrakech! PS! There is a mouske situated next door so be aware that you hear their speakers pretty well when payers are spoken.« less

Excellent Riad, staff, service superb. Hidden Oasis in the heart of Marrakech. - Jul 15, 2019
First of all this riad is within walking distance of the souqs, medina and main square. Upon arriving at the riad, abdoul greeted us, served us fresh green mint tea, to help us cool down and relax, he showed us around the riad, and explained the location and surrounding area, told us how much taxis costs to get around and back to the riad, how to navigate back and gave us his number to phone if we got lost. On the first evening a taxi driver couldnt find the riad so we asked him to phone abdoul who gave him directions. It was perfect. The service could not have been better. Every morning we got a breakfast, even when we had excursions and needed a breakfast outside of the normal breakfast hours. This really is a beautiful and clean place to stay. I cannot explain how exceptional the service was by all the staff. Abdoul however really made our trip exceptional. He is a credit to the riad and a shining example of the berber people, we had such a great time! I wouldnt consider staying anywhere else! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience« less

Nice Riad and breakfast - Mar 12, 2019
The Riad is nice and the staff is good. Upon arrival and while waiting for the room I've been served with mint tea. The service is good and the room is clean and smell good. The only criticism is bit far from facilities. Have to walk a bit to square for a lunch because the Riad did not serve lunch there. Somehow the breakfast is good. Also I noticed the pool is needed bit of cleaning because it's filled with bird's dropped inside. Also be aware of children on the street who will try to show the Riad and ask money for it. Other than that I really recommend the Riad« less
